Step 3: Shampoo your hair.

1. How to Prepare Full strength hair masks

How to make:
Step 1:
Select the powders you want to use on your hair.

Step 2:
Select the liquid you will be using to mix.

  • Some good liquids include:
  • Warm water
  • Aloe Vera juice
  • Apple Cider vinegar
  • Water that’s infused with Ayurvedic powders.

Any of the liquids will do a good job.

Step 3:
Add your powders into a dry bowl and mix them all together. Use equal proportions. Eg two table spoons of each. Quantity to use vary with the size and length of the hair.

Step 4:
Slowly add water and then mix.
Keep adding water slowly while mixing. This is a very important step.

Don’t add too much water that will make your mask runny and also don’t add little water, that will make the mask hard and unmanageable.

If you did everything correctly, you will have a mask that is of yogurt consistency.

Step 5:
Add your carrier oils and essential oils for extra nourishment

2. Hair glosses.

Step 1:
Make a full strength masks as explained above.

Step 2:
Add your moisturizing deep conditioner and keep mixing.. Your gloss is ready.

3. Ayurvedic Spritz and Teas

How to make.

Step 1:
Take a tea spoon of selected powders. Add them in 500ml – 750ml hot to warm water. Stir and Let it infuse for 12 – 24 hours.

Step 2:
After the the water has infused, sieve it. Use the infused water as a base for your water spritz or tea rinse.

For Tea rinses:
-Use the infused water just after you have shampooed.
-Pour it on your hair until it’s all wet. Cover your hair with a shower cap and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

After this..

Either
Rinse it off and proceed to styling your hair using the LOC method.
Or
After the 30 minutes, apply a moisturizing deep conditioner and let it also sit for 30 more minutes, then rinse your hair before proceeding to styling.

For Spritz:
– You can add Aloe vera juice, essential oils and carrier oils and mix well. Put it in a spray bottle and spritz your hair and scalp every other day.

Store this in a refrigerator, and make in small batches thst lasts you a short while (7 – 10 days).
