Mara Organics Tea Tree Essential Oil is a 100% pure, steam-distilled Melaleuca alternifolia essential oil with a crisp, fresh and distinctly herbal aroma. Traditionally used in skin, scalp and household-care routines, tea tree oil is especially popular for oily or blemish-prone skin and for refreshing scalps that feel oily or flaky. It can also be diffused to create a clean-smelling atmosphere or incorporated into properly formulated DIY cleaning blends. Because tea tree essential oil is highly concentrated, it should always be diluted before topical use and should never be swallowed.

- Scalp Oil: Dilute a few drops in a suitable carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed or sweet almond oil before massaging lightly into the scalp.
- Scalp Routine: Use the diluted blend approximately 2–3 times per week according to scalp tolerance, then shampoo if needed.
- Targeted Skin Use: Dilute approximately 1 drop in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of carrier oil as a gentle starting point before applying sparingly to blemish-prone areas.
- Face: Use only at a low dilution and avoid applying undiluted tea tree essential oil directly to blemishes.
- Body & Foot Care: Incorporate into a properly diluted carrier-oil, lotion or suitable foot-care blend.
- Diffuser: Add approximately 2–3 drops to your diffuser, following the diffuser manufacturer’s recommended water capacity and instructions.
- Household Cleaning: If adding tea tree oil to a DIY cleaning product, use an appropriately formulated recipe and follow safe dilution and surface-care instructions.
- Patch Test: Test any diluted topical blend on a small area before wider use.
