Slippery Elm Powder
Slippery elm (Ulmus rubra) bark is dried and ground into a fine powder. When mixed with water it forms a soothing mucilage. Traditionally used by Indigenous peoples of North America for digestive upsets, sore throat and skin wounds, the mucilage acts as a demulcent and emollient.
