Rhassoul Clay Morrocan

Our organic rhassoul, also known as ghassoul, is a spa-quality, mineral-rich clay from Morocco. It is sun-dried and untreated. This clay is very gentle on the skin, making it great for sensitive and dry skin types. Extracted from beneath the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, it is ideal for promoting healthy hair and skin.

How to Use:

1. Place the desired amount in a bowl (approximately 1 tbsp for one facial application) and add very hot water, just enough to cover the clay. Allow it to absorb the water for 5-10 minutes.
2. For a facial mask, consider adding rose water for its anti-inflammatory properties.
3. Apply the paste to your damp face and leave it on for about 10 minutes, keeping the mud damp with a water spray or by applying a little water with wet fingers. Rinse with warm water, pat dry, and moisturize with one of our organic oils.
4. Store any additional or leftover rhassoul clay in a cool, dark place or in your fridge.

For hair:

1. Mix the rhassoul clay as above but add more liquid to achieve a more fluid consistency.
2. Combine 1 cup of coconut milk, 1 tbsp of honey, 1 tbsp of Shikakai, 1 tbsp of bhringraj powder, and 2 tbsp of rhassoul clay.
3. Mix all dry ingredients together. Add warm water until the mixture thickens and water is well absorbed. Lastly, integrate the honey and coconut milk, mixing thoroughly.
4. Apply the mixture to your hair during a shower and leave it on for 5-10 minutes before washing it out completely.
