Qasil is a traditional Somali cleansing powder made from the dried leaves of the Gob tree (Ziziphus mauritiana). When mixed with water, it creates a soft, natural lather that helps lift away excess oil and daily buildup—leaving skin feeling clean, fresh, and more balanced.

Use it as a: - gentle daily/occasional cleanser (especially for oily areas)
- quick mask when skin feels congested-looking
- mild exfoliating paste (with a light touch—no harsh scrubbing)

Because it’s a single-ingredient powder, Qasil is easy to customize: mix with plain water for a simple cleanse, or blend with honey/yogurt if your skin prefers a more cushiony mask texture.

Ziziphus mauritiana Leaf Powder

  • Skin Clarity: Promotes clearer, even-toned skin.
  • Blemish Control: Helps reduce blemishes and acne scars.
  • Nourishing: Rich in nutrients, leaving the skin moisturized and balanced.

As a Cleanser:

  • Mix a small amount with water to form a paste.
  • Apply to the face, gently massage to create foam, then rinse.

As a Mask:

  • Combine with water to make a thicker paste.
  • Apply to the face and leave on for 10–15 minutes before washing off.
  • For added benefits, mix with honey or yogurt

As an Exfoliator: 

  • Apply the paste and gently massage in circular motions, then rinse off.
  • External use only.
  • Avoid contact with eyes. Patch test if sensitive.
  • Do not use on broken skin.
  • Store sealed in a cool, dry place and keep moisture out.
  • Do not store mixed paste—mix fresh each time.
