Guidelines for Hair Usage:

Amount of Powder Required:

• Above Ear Length: 50-75 grams

• Shoulder Length: 100-125 grams

• Bra Strap or Mid-Back Length: 150-175 grams

• Lower Back Length (Above Hips): 200-225 grams

• Hip/Waist Length: 250-300 grams

Recommended Liquids for Mixing:

• Water

• Apple Cider Vinegar

• Green Tea

Note: For optimal coloring, avoid heavy additives such as yogurt, butters, and conditioners, as they can dilute the color payoff.

Application Instructions:

1. Combine the henna powder with a chosen liquid and allow the mixture to sit for 3-4 hours for dye release.

2. Adjust the mixture to a pancake batter consistency.

3. Apply to damp hair in sections, wearing gloves to avoid staining.

4. Wrap hair and let the henna sit for 3-4 hours.

5. Rinse out using a method that suits your hair type. Color will fully develop within 48 hours.

Achieving Your Desired Color:

NOTE: Henna for hair colour works if you have light coloured hair eg gray hair or blonde hair. Henna does not visibly colour black hair. However, if you have dark coloured hair and wish to achieve an even richer and natural looking black hair colour, you can still use henna in combination with Indigo powder.

• Reddish Brown: 70% henna and 30% organic indigo 

• Brown: Equal parts of organic indigo and henna.

• Dark Chocolate Brown: 70% indigo and 30% henna.

• Black: Apply 100% henna, followed by a second application of 100% indigo for a deep, rich black, or 50% henna and 50% Indigo , followed by a second application of 100% Indigo powder.
