Handcrafted in small batches from traditional West African recipes, our African Black Soap is a multipurpose cleanser made from the ash of sun‑dried plantain skins, cocoa pods and palm leaves, blended with nourishing oils like shea butter, palm and coconut.

 This natural, unrefined soap retains glycerine and beneficial plant minerals, offering a gentle cleanse that supports skin and scalp health. African black soap is prized for its ability to cleanse without stripping natural oils and is traditionally used to soothe skin irritation and scalp discomfort.

Its inherent antimicrobial properties help to fight common skin microbes, making it a favourite for acne‑prone skin and dandruff‑prone scalps. Expect a soft lather and earthy scent. Each bar may vary slightly in colour and shape due to artisanal processing.
